Ranbir Kapoor defeated Salman & Shahrukh !!!

Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan who are the kings of Bollywood have been defeated by Ranbir Kapoor who stepped into industry few years ago. We are talking about the battle of winning awards in which both the Khans failed even to get nominated, while Ranbir succeeded to do so.

Looking to the facts, Sallu has two releases in 2011 Bodyguard & Ready and both did a good business, but he failed to get nominated in Filmfare Awards, Zee Cine Awards & Screen Awards leaving apart the nominations for best actor for Bodyguard and for Music of Dhika Chika song from Ready. Ready did a business of 179 crores while Bodyguard made 240 crores and proved to be a blockbuster, but both failed to win awards.

Same is the story of SRK's Don-2 & Ra.Onewhich failed to stand up to the expectations. Ra.One has been nominated for Technical aspects while Shahrukh Khan has been nominated for best Actor award for Don-2 in Zee Cine Awards.

Apart from these two actors Ranbir Kapoor who had a single release on the silver screen this year grabbed 7-9 nominations in each of the award functions including Best Actor nomination. Rockstar has been appreciated by the critics and specially the acting of Ranbir. The film has been liked by the youths.

So, this way Ranbir takes the crown of being Super Actor last year defeating, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan.

Lots of hopes from Don-2-Farhan Akhtar

Farhan Akhtar is very assured about the success of his upcoming directorial movie Don-2 but, has a feeling of insecurity with piracy. "I don't feel afraid of piracy at the time of Production or Post-Production but the one after the release of the film worries me", said Farhan.

 

 SRK looks in Don-2

Shahrukh starer film Don-2 will hit the theaters at the time of Christmas this Diwali. It's the sequel of super hit film Don, which had Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. In this film along with SRK, Priyanka Chopra, Om Puri and Lara Dutta will be seen playing important roles.

Comparison of Don & Don-2:-
When asked about the comparison between the two films, Farhan said, " I can't speak a single word, however, people will compare. I can only say that our film has been made beautifully and will surely attract people to the ticket counters".

""It will be wrong to say that this film is same as the one which released in 1977 starring Big B as whenever a sequel is planned on, there has to be a story continuing the last part" he added.

Don-2 has also been converted into 3d. Shahrukh & Piggy Chops acted in the previous part of the sequel while Kareena Kapoor played the role of Helen.
