Maqbool Fida Husain, or M.F. Hussain one of the India’s most re-known painter, died on Thursday of a heart attack, he was 95 years old. However, he was unpopular in his own country due to controversies about paintings in recent years. He has been living in Qatar and has become a citizen there as he was put on an exile due to the nude paintings he made. He has been trying to come back to his nation but not allowed.
If we leave controversies apart then he was a great painter and has made India proud abroad with his paintings. He has been making paintings when he was very young and finally his paintings started to get sold for millions of dollars later on.
It's sad to loose such a legendary painter. May god give peace to his soul.
