Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan who are the kings of Bollywood have been defeated by Ranbir Kapoor who stepped into industry few years ago. We are talking about the battle of winning awards in which both the Khans failed even to get nominated, while Ranbir succeeded to do so.
Looking to the facts, Sallu has two releases in 2011 Bodyguard & Ready and both did a good business, but he failed to get nominated in Filmfare Awards, Zee Cine Awards & Screen Awards leaving apart the nominations for best actor for Bodyguard and for Music of Dhika Chika song from Ready. Ready did a business of 179 crores while Bodyguard made 240 crores and proved to be a blockbuster, but both failed to win awards.
Same is the story of SRK's Don-2 & Ra.Onewhich failed to stand up to the expectations. Ra.One has been nominated for Technical aspects while Shahrukh Khan has been nominated for best Actor award for Don-2 in Zee Cine Awards.
Apart from these two actors Ranbir Kapoor who had a single release on the silver screen this year grabbed 7-9 nominations in each of the award functions including Best Actor nomination. Rockstar has been appreciated by the critics and specially the acting of Ranbir. The film has been liked by the youths.
So, this way Ranbir takes the crown of being Super Actor last year defeating, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan.
