Become Owner of an IPL Team-IPL team for a Common Man

This post is just based on an ideology of mine. While watching IPL matches, one day a thought clicked my mind which i want to share here with all you guys. I know that an IPL team needs crores of investment, including the buying of players in auction, team coach manger and many more which seems quite difficult for a common man to have his own IPL Team. Only celebs like Sharukh, Priety, Vijay Mallya, Anil Ambani have that amount of money.

 

But what about a common man, who watch IPL with the same feel and even more than their owners feeling that it's their own team playing in the field. Now let me tell you about my thought which clicked my mind. Everybody knows that a common man can't afford an IPL Team of his own. But many common man jointly can afford for their own IPL Team. The idea will be that a lot of common man will invest together for a team. The share of the team will be divided among them. The idea is very same as a company sell its shares to common man. 

I don't know whether it's possible or not, so i would like to know about it and will request all of the readers to please do share it with people across you so that this idea could be employed and might be one day a team of common man will be seen playing in the league.

Kolkata Knight Riders beat Deccan Chargers by 20 runs

After winning the toss, Kumar Sangakara decided to put Kolkata Knight Riders into bat first. Knight Riders started very slowly due to good bowling attack from Deccan Chargers. After Morgan’s departure, Kallis and Gautam Gambhir scored some useful runs for Kolkata Knight Riders. Two drop catches of Yusuf Pathan was big turning point of the match. Yusuf Pathan and Tiwary took away KKR to 169 runs which was big total against Deccan chargers.

It was not such a big target for Deccan Chargers with such a strong batting line up. Sohal and Dhawan started off well but the failure of middle order was again responsible for their spoiled innings. Sangakara departed on duck whereas Bhatia picked the wickets of Cameroon White and Christian in the same over. Deccan Chargers just reached 149 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 20 runs. This was their second consecutive defeat in this IPL.

IPL 2011 Points Table

IPL 2011 is at its peak theses days. It has started from 18th of April and will continue till 28th of May. 30 matches has been played till date and there are a total of 74 matches to be played including final. There are a total of 10 teams taking part in IPL 2011 with two new comers Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Pune Warriors India.

Till date Royal Challengers Bangalore is leading with 19 points in its bag and has played 14 matches out of which it won 9. Chennai Super Kings leaded by MS Dhoni is at the second position.
