India Failed to win Dominica test against West Indies

India team just needed 4 wickets of West Indies to wind up their second innings. Ishant Sharma,Praveen Kumar and all other Indian bowlers were totally tired against West Indies lower order batting line up. Chanderpaul was the man to watch who was not out till the end of their innings.West Indies scored 322 runs whereas Chanderpaul scored 117 runs out of it.



Just before the tea session,Indian team got success and the whole West Indies went to pavilion.180 runs were kept on the scoreboard in order to win this test match but Indian team started losing wickets which put them at back foot. India has won the series by 1-0 but it might have become more enjoyable if India have won by 2-0.Ishant Sharma for his top class bowling was given man of the series award.

India wins Digicel Series by 1-0 against West Indies

West Indies team got big success on the last day of the dominica test when they succeeded in turning the match towards draw. Indian team has won the series by 1-0 against West Indies. The hopes of winning series by 2-0 were spoiled by West Indies lower order players who played approximately half of the fifth day. Indian bowlers were trying really hard to pick 4 wickets as early as possible but they did it just before the tea session which was too late.



The main man responsible for this is Chanderpaul who scored crucial 117 runs for West Indies.5 fours were included in his century. He was also adjudged as "man of the match". His top class batting helped West Indies to save the last game of the tournament. Ishant Sharma was awarded as "man of the series" award.

On the 4th day of Dominica test, Indian team's intention was to bowl out West Indies as soon as possible. All the strategies and hopes of Indian team was spoiled by West Indies batsmen. Indian bowlers tried their best to finish off the things but Edwards and Chanderpaul changed the atmosphere of the ground and started hitting some good shots all over the ground.4th day almost went into the favour of West Indies as Edwars scored 110 runs knock in 195 balls in which 9 fours and 1 six was included.



On other hand, Chanderpaul is still on the crease to create problems for Indian team on the last day of this test match. It will be big exam for Indian team to pick up 4 wickets in quick succession so that lead should not be increased much. West Indies is leading by 81 runs in the 4th test match. If they will survive till lunch, then it can become hard for Indian to win this match. West Indies will try hard to turn this match towards draw. It's time now for India to do some new experiments on West Indies.

India raising hopes of winning Dominica test against West Indies

It was the third day of the last test match between India and West Indies which was played tomorrow. After the close of
third day's play, India is in commandable position and reaching closer to another victory in test matches. Opener Mukund 
and VVS Laxman took the responsibilties on their shoulders and started playing West Indies bolwers in an aggressive manner.
It was big sigh of relief for West Indies when their captain Sammy picked up a wicket of Rahul Dravid at 5. 
 
 
Mukund was looking danger and was needed to be sent to the pavilion.Spinner Bishoo did the job and broken the building 
partnership between Mukund and Laxman.Indian middle order batsman Suresh Raina also scored fifty to build up a intense lead 
against West Indies.Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was back in his test form and is playing at 65 with Harbhajan Singh.
Indian fans are having great faith on Indian cricket team and this faith will help them tow in the series in West Indies 
after long time.

Indian Team Tour to West Indies 2011 Schedule

Indian Team in absence of many of its senior most and experienced players will tour West Indies, where Team India will play a T-20 Match, 5 ODI’s and 3 Test Matches against Caribbean Team. The Tour started with win in lone T-20 Match and continued in the 1st ODI against West Indies. Suresh Raina is playing the role of Captain of India in absence of MS Dhoni. 



West Indies Tour 2011 will be great opportunity for youngsters to show their talent in absence of senior players. Darren Sammy is leading the Caribbean Team. The ODI Series is of great importance for Indian Team as they might become the king of ODI’ also if they clean swept Windies by 5-0.
