Pratibha Patil assets worth 5.61 Crores

President Pratibha Patil finally stood on her words and declared her assets. Her assets worth Rs. 5 Crore 61 Lakh as revealed on Rashtrapati Bhawan's official website. She has also become the first President ever to declare such details publicly throughout world. 

The details of her assets are given below:-

• House in New Congress Housing Society in Amrawati which worth Rs. 39.61/ Lakhs-.
• A farmhouse in Badnera worth 9.82 Lakhs.
• Field at five places in Jalgaon and Dhule worth 24.39 Lakhs.
• She is having Bonds of Gramin Vidyut Nigam and Sanjivani worth 29.05 Lakhs and 66 Thousands respectively.
• Savings of 69.93 Lakhs in different banks.
• 4.41 Lakh in Post office and 12.6 Lakh in Provident Fund (PF).
• Gold and Silver worth 31 lakh and 69 thousand respectively. 
• 1.87 Lakh in cash.

This is really an appreciable step took by the First Citizen of the Nation as this might inspire other to follow her.

President to declare her assets publicly

President Pratibha Patil has decided to soon declare her assets publicly. This will be the first time that any President will declare assets of his/her own. Archana Dutta, Spokes Person of Rashtrapati Bhawan told that, President Pratibha Patil has decided to declare her assets herself and there is no boundation to do so. 

On the question that till when she will declare her assets; Archana told, she will do it very soon. She also clarified that she is doing i on hr won wish. This do not has any relation with advice from Central Information Committee.
