RP Singh replaces Zaheer Khan for rest of England series

Indian team is continuously struggling with the fitness level of the players. One of the main reasons behind injuries is the busy schedule of team India. Harbhajan Singh has been already sent out of the England series whereas Yuvraj Singh is still not fit to play the rest of the matches. England will definitely use the advantage of their weaknesses. It will be tough job fro India to face English team now.

Another disappointment came when Zaheer Khan could not improve his condition of hamstring. Selectors and management has decided that he will be sent out of the team to recover well and will be rested for some more weeks. Indian left arm fast bowler Zaheer is been replaced by another left arm bowler RP Singh which will join Indian squad from 3rd test match against England.

Graeme Swann is fit to play 3rd test match against India

English Captain Andrew Strauss has said that they are in a mood to snatch top chair from India. If India will lose the next match, they will be pulled down by England. Team’s performance in England is totally nil and it has become hard for them to response towards top class England’s bowling. Top class English player Jonathan Trott might miss the 3rd test due to injury.

He got his shoulder injured in the previous test and he is not totally fit to play the next match. On other hand, Swann has been recovered from the injury and he is expecting to play 3rd test match starting form 10th August. Swann is one of the top class spin bowler who is picking up wickets for England. His presence in the team makes England stronger. He got minor injury at Tent Bridge against India in the 2nd test match.

Indian Squad for T20 and ODI Series against England to be declared today

In Chennai, Indian squad will be declared today by the selectors. Harbhajan Singh will not be included in the squad as he is injured and will take 4 weeks to get recover. Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir and Kohli are finalized for the batting department. Captain MS Dhoni is all set to return in blue jersey as he will play 1st ODI series after ICC World Cup 2011. Rohit Sharma will be given chance in the England to show his past talent.

Suresh Raina has also performed well in West Indies which has made his place almost final for the ODI Series against England. Talking about bowling department, it’s hard for Nehra to return in the squad as Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar and Munaf Patel will be available in the squad due to their classical performance in recent ODI matches.

Yusuf Pathan might return in the team whereas Ojha and Ashwin can also find place in the absence of Harbhajan Singh.

Ashish Nehra declared fit to play

Indian left arm fast bowler has recently submitted his fitness report to BCCI indicating that he is all set to return back on the field again. He was a part of ICC World Cup 2011 where his bowling was highly appreciated by cricket fans. In the absence of Praveen Kumar he did not felt Indian team incomplete and bowled in superb manner.

Nehra’s addition into squad can help Indian team to achieve great heights at England tour. He could not play the final of World cup as his hand got fractured in one of the matches. His return into the field after 6 years in cricket was a big achievement for him. He is very much dedicated for Cricket and can find his name in one day series squad against England.

Busy Schedule is responsible for our defeat, says Captain Dhoni

Indian team has lost two consecutive test matches recently played against England. World no.1 test team, India will lose the top chair as soon as they will lose the next match. They have also won ICC World Cup 2011 which has filled lot of confidence in the players. Some injury of top class players is also problem for India at present time.

Virendra Sehwag is ready to play remaining test matches

Indian middle order top class batsman, Yuvraj very well know that it is very hard for him to make his place into last 11 in Indian test team. Due to injury of Gautam Gambhir, he got a golden chance to play against England in the 2nd test. In Indian present squad, it has become a problem for Yuvraj to make his presence. England bowlers were attacking Indian batsmen and 4 players left the ground including master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

At that time, he arrived and took the responsibilities on his shoulders. He joined man in form, Dravid who scored second consecutive descent century. Yuvraj Singh’s performance will force captain MS Dhoni to think about him in the upcoming test matches. He scored 62 runs off 115 balls in which 10 crucial fours were involved.

Rahul Dravid scored second continuous ton at England tour

On the second day of tent Bridge test, English bowlers struggled a lot to break the partnership between Dravid and Laxman. Bresnan was the man who achieved success by sending Laxman at 56. Indian team was struggling at one stage of the game when 4 players departed at 139 runs. Rahul Dravid started playing very calmly as he knew that it will be important from India’s point of view.

At Lords also he was the only match to watch to took the over all responsibility of the match. His patient, classical and top class batting created problems for England bowlers throughout the day. It was not an easy task to send him into the pavilion. He scored superb century which helped Indian team to reach 288 runs. He scored 113 runs

Sreesanth’s entry proved to be big advantage for India

Indian team bowled out England on the first day itself at Tent Bridge. Good batting line up failed against Indian bowlers. MS Dhoni’s decision was right one as they left the field at the score of just 221 runs. In absence of Zaheer Khan, it was Sreesanth who took away everything from English batsmen. He started putting pressure from the starting itself. Praveen Kumar and Ishant Sharma were there for supporting him.

Sreesanth is very experienced and world class talented bowler. He is getting good bounce and swing on the England pitch. It was a sort of a big exam for him when he got the opportunity to play this test match. He knew that it is totally right time to perform in order to get entry into the squad. He has always done well when team needed his efforts. May he do some wonders in the next Innings.
