Government of Gujarat has decided to construct Tallest Statue of the world. Till date Statue of Liberty located in New York is the tallest with a height of 93 meters. But the Statue to be constructed in Gujarat will have a height of 12 meters which is almost twice the Liberty Statue and 5 times the Rio de Janeiro's Christ the Redeemer which is 39.6 meters.
The Statue will be of The Great man of India also Known as Iron Man, Sardar Patel. It is named as "Statue of Unity". It will be 182 meters long and will be placed at Sadhu Bet, which is an island located 3 km away from the Sardar Sarovar Dam in the riverbed of Narmada.
The special and the most interesting thing about the Statue is that it will have a lift and visitors will be able to go to the top of the statue to have a beautiful scenery from Sardar Patel's eye.
