Indian Team will be missing the pacers Zaheer Khan and Sreesantha in Test Series against West Indies. The duo has been declared injured yesterday while the squad for Test Matches has been declared. They will be replaced by Praveen Kumar already present in West Indies playing ODI Series and Abhimanyu Mithun .
It’s a wonderful chance for both Praveen and Mithun to make a good expression over the Board in the absence of senior players.
The West Indies Tour have missed many of the Star Players of India including rested Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virendra Sehwag and then Yuvraj Singh due to illness and now followed by injured Zaheer and Sree.
BCCI made a media statement on Thursday that, “Zaheer has a right ankle problem and Sreesanth has a right elbow problem. Both players will require some time off for rehabilitation”.
But, BCCI while announcing the ODI squad on May 12 said that Zaheer Khan has been rested for ODI’s, which now raises a question that whether players are hiding injuries or Board itself.

England Tour Strategies:
People are saying that, all this might be done looking to the forthcoming England Test Series, just after the Caribbean Tour.
An insider told that, “Injuries of both the players are not serious. But it was decided not to risk them with an important series coming up in England. England is competing with us when it comes to Top ranking n Tests. And the rate of bowlers breaking down in England is higher due to dicey weather. So there was no point in risking two of our key bowlers for the series in the West Indies. Instead, it was thought to have the fittest possible side in England”.
