Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi who went US to undergo surgery is all well now and her surgery has been done successfully. She has been operated in New York on 4th of august 2011. Currently, she has been kept in ICU for better treatment.
Sonia left 3 days earlier for US and has submitted her absence letter to the speaker of Loksabha, Miera Kumar telling that she would not be able to attend the Parliament. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and son-in-law Robert Vadra is there with Sonia to help her get well soon.
"Sonia has been operated successfully" said Janardan Dwivedi, Party General Secretary and Media head. "Doctors told that operation is successful, and the disease has not been disclosed as it's her own personal matter that is why her family do not want to disclose it," added Dwivedi.
