Indian Squad for T20 and ODI Series against England to be declared today

In Chennai, Indian squad will be declared today by the selectors. Harbhajan Singh will not be included in the squad as he is injured and will take 4 weeks to get recover. Sachin Tendulkar, Sehwag, Gambhir and Kohli are finalized for the batting department. Captain MS Dhoni is all set to return in blue jersey as he will play 1st ODI series after ICC World Cup 2011. Rohit Sharma will be given chance in the England to show his past talent.


Suresh Raina has also performed well in West Indies which has made his place almost final for the ODI Series against England. Talking about bowling department, it’s hard for Nehra to return in the squad as Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar and Munaf Patel will be available in the squad due to their classical performance in recent ODI matches.

Yusuf Pathan might return in the team whereas Ojha and Ashwin can also find place in the absence of Harbhajan Singh.

Due to some injury, two top class Indian players Yuvraj and Harbhajan are sent out of the two upcoming test matches. Yuvraj is still suffering from his place to get fix in the Indian test squad. It is good new to hear that Virat Kohli and Ojha has been added to the squad for the remaining test matches.


Arrival of Sehwag and Zaheer will help Indian team to create problems for England. India has lost two consecutive test matches which has aroused questions on their top chair. Gambhir and Sehwag can good start whereas Laxman and Dravid can handle the middle order department. Master is all set to hit his 100th test ton at Edgbaston. Harbhajan was also not getting his rhythm properly and needs some rest and more practice.

Indian team has lost two consecutive test matches recently played against England. World no.1 test team, India will lose the top chair as soon as they will lose the next match. They have also won ICC World Cup 2011 which has filled lot of confidence in the players. Some injury of top class players is also problem for India at present time.


All eyes are now on the upcoming matches which will decide India’s place in test rankings. Due to the bus schedule, players are very much tired and are not responding as expected. This statement was said by Indian skipper MS Dhoni when the reason behind India’s defeat at Tent Bridge was asked to him. Experts are saying that Dhoni is trying to hide the weaknesses of team India.
