Wednesday, July 27, 2011

Indian Cricket Team is going through a hard time in England, as it had not even recovered from the Test match lo9ss and has recieved another blow regarding their most experienced bowler in the squad, Zaheer Khan. Khan will be more likely out of 2nd Test match to be played from 29th of July in Trent Bridge. This lefts Indian team with two other pace options as Sreesanth and Munaf Patel.

MS Dhoni said that, "I'm not 100% sure if Zaheer will be fit for the next Test, but we still have three days. It's a long series so we don't want to risk anyone. If we feel a player is just 80-90 % and if playing in a game injury won't aggravate then we will take a call whether to play or not."

Now it's upto time whether he recovers till Friday or not. However looking to the replacements available that's Sree and Patel both of them are having less experience as compared to Zak. Sreesanth has played 3 tests in England and took 9 wickets with an average of 37.55 having best record of 3/53 and Munaf is yet to make it and has played only 2 ODI's in England in 2007 and took 4 wickets.
