Tensions between Government and Social Activist Anna Hazare are increasing on Lokpal Bill. Civil Society representatives said that, Government is cheating, they are trying to form “Jokpal bill” not Lokpal. Shri Hazare announced that he will resume his indefinite fast from 16th of August.On this, government replied that Anna should not threaten them.
Hazare accused government saying that government firstly agreed on all the demands of Civil Society and is refusing now. They don't have a mentality to form an effective Lokpal Bill and there is no way other than indefinite fast and nationwide movements. Government wants us to wither like the movement of Baba Ramdev but we are ready to face lathis, bullets and jail, said Anna.
Our Indefinite fast will start at Jantar Mantar from 16th of August. Arvind Kejripal, one of the members of Civil Society said that Government is trying to define a Jokpal Bill because it has ear that if Lokpal Bill is passed then half of the ministers will be in Tihar Jail.
