Vijender Singh is finally getting married tomorrow, World's no.1 in 75 kg weight category will tie his knot with a Software Engineer Archana. She is 24 years old, lives in Delhi. Vijender and Archana were dating each other from last 4 years and now they are all set to be life-partner of each other.
The marriage will take place tomorrow that is 17th of May. On this occasion Vijender said, "The D-day is may 17th and i'm really happy. It's a beginning of a new life for both of us and i hope everybody's wishes are with us". while he returned yesterday after winning a Bronze Medal in Arafura Games in Australia.
Vijender Singh also said, "It's a love-cum-arranged marriage. I know Archana even before people started treating me like a celebrity. She is from a middle-class family and has always been a great support for me".
Telling about his first meet with Archana Viju said, "I first met her in Delhi through a common friend and it took off from there"
Marriage Ceremony will be organized at Vijender's native village Kaluwas in Bhiwani, Boxer also told that there will be a special party for friends on 18th hosted by their families.
However there are no honeymoon plan as Vijender will leave for Cuba where he will have special training session for the upcoming Olympics in 2012, but Archana may accompany her in case her Visa is being issued on time.
