VYAPAM has provided 21 Examination Centers in 9 cities out of the state for PEPT 2011. Mostly the students from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are participating in the examination. 6,140 students from Bihar and 2,716 students from Uttar Pradesh are giving exam this year. Out of 21 centers made outside the state, the maximum number of examination centers that is 10 is in Patna. While there are 2 centers in Allahabad, Kanpur and Ranchi and Delhi, Kolkata, Raipur, Nagpur and Lucknow has one centers each.A total of 11,818 students are giving PEPT this year which is quiet relieving news for private Colleges.
Maximum Number of Students from Gwalior:
According to the VYAPAM this time 1,10,866 students are taking part in examination, in which 99,48,000 are from Madhya Pradesh itself and in that also 15,505 are from Gwalior which is the maximum number of students from a single place. Following is Indore with 15,445, while State Capital Bhopal is at the third place with a strength of 12,432.
