Kings XI Punjab wins against Kochi Tuskers Kerala by 6 wickets

Even after scoring above 175 runs, Kings XI Punjab spoiled all the plans of Kochi Tuskers Kerala in IPL-4. Yesterday’s defeat has put them down in the table. Batting first, Jayawardene and McCullum gave solid start to his team. After the fall of McCullum’s wicket, middle order failed to establish score above 200 runs. Mahela Jayawardene was the only man who took Kochi Tuskers Kerala beyond 175 runs.


 In reply to Kochi, Kings XI Punjab got off to a good start. RP Singh gave two big blows to Punjab in the form of Adam Gilchrist and Paul Valthaty. 111 runs partnership between Dinesh Kartik and Shaun Marsh snatched the game from the pocket of Kochi Tuskers Kerala. Solid sixes from Dinesh Kartik surprised Kochi Tuskers Kerala. After the fall of 2 more wickets, David Hussey finally helped Punjab to win second consecutive match. Captaincy of Adam Gilchrist will also help Punjab in the upcoming matches.
