Chennai Super Kings has done it nicely once again and won IPL 2011 making their 2nd consecutive IPL Victory, as they were the champions last season. Skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to set the score ( batted first) for Royal Challengers Bangalore. They started well with an opening partnership of 159 between Mike Hussey (63 in 85 balls) and Murali Vijay (95 runs in 52 balls). CSK set a total of 205 in 20 overs with a loss of 5 wickets on the board with handy innings of 22 by Skipper Dhoni. Chris Gayle and Srinath Aravina took 2 wickets each in their 4 overs spell.
In return beginning of Royal Challengers has not been good and they lost their key player Chris Gayle at duck and soon Mayank Agarwal lost his wicket at 10 runs. After that no one could play and of them surrendered in front of CSK and went back to pavilion in a hurry. Kohli has shown some courage to fight but not got support from other end and finally lost his wicket at a personal score of 35. Ravichandran Ashwin and Shadab Jakati bowled beautifully and took 3 and 2 wickets each.
At the end CSK won the match and IPL Season 4 by 52 runs stopping RCB at a score of 147/8 in 20 overs. Now, Dhoni has once again proved that he has the ability to keep his nerves cool in big game.
